Title: Animal Technician

Schedule: M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm

Start: ASAP

Terms: 6 month contract to hire

"MUST HAVES":

+ Minimum of High School Diploma

+ Experience with care of Animals (mice and rats)

+ Minimal animal handling

+ Willing to consider recent graduates who want to work with animals and in a lab setting!!

•Nice to Haves”:

+ 1+ yrs. animal husbandry/care experience

+ Experience in a research animal care facility

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

+ Perform animal husbandry tasks

+ Provide research support services

+ Will provide food and water to animals

+ Evaluate animal’s health and assess animals for behavioral problems

+ Provide facility maintenance and sanitation
