    Our Lilly Business Insights and Analytics (BI&A) team is comprised of 450+ individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. We enable relevant, real-time, data driven business decisions across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and a range of other functions across Lilly, leading to best-in-class customer engagements that improve patient outcomes.

You will be part of our Team Lilly integrated effort that's setting new standards in customer excellence and innovation. Your expertise can help shape the future of customer engagement at Lilly.

     

    Associate Director, Customer Personalization Insights & Analytics, will serve as an organizational change agent in helping achieve our personalization objectives. You will collaborate across business, tech, data, engineering, content and other experts to help build and deliver data-driven personalization at scale, globally. You will identify, track, and analyze customer data; enable seamless end-to-end personalized experiences; support enterprise onboarding of new MarTech solutions; drive patient outcomes and business results. You will predominantly focus on Health Care Professional (HCP) audiences, supporting both individual therapeutic areas and enterprise standard capabilities, globally.

They champion a collaborative team culture and have a track record of being bold, fast and clear. The position reports to Executive Director of Business Insights and Analytics, HCP Personalization.

    How** **You’ll** **Succeed

    + Garner a deep understanding of Healthcare Professional preferences, behaviors, friction points, and needs of the patients they support, along with an understanding of data sources that enable a comprehensive view.

    + Partner with business teams (i.e. brand marketers, communications leads) to translate HCP needs into valuable and enduring HCP experiences, and demonstrate ease in bringing business and technical inputs together to enable real time experience activations powered by MarTech solutions.

    + Serve as the primary interface to technical teams. Collaborate with technical teams on implementation design and delivery, including tech, data, ops and other cross functional subject matter experts.

    + Provide mentorship and collaboration process to business partners to drive efficient experience evaluation and prioritization. Cultivate a culture of shared accountability for outcomes, encouraging collaboration among technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.

    + Develop measurement strategies and supervise delivery of technical requirements that will enable effective implementation and measurement, for example tagging requirements, KPI identification, experiment design, performance tracking and insight generation. Lead performance outcome reporting aligned to the measurement framework and experience objectives.

    + Support one or more therapeutic areas and lead one or more enterprise centers of excellence. Support development and enforcement of enterprise standards and practices and lead one or more specific initiatives.

    + Maintain a strong working knowledge of different data types including First Party and Third-Party Datasets, both digital and offline.

    + Stay abreast of industry leading best practices and methodologies in personalization. Keep up to date on different AdTech and MarTech solutions including Identity resolution, CRM tools, Customer Data Platforms (CDP) to ensure Lilly can best leverage its multiple applications to provide a single customer view.

    + Support BI&A leadership by determining when compliance reviews are needed, and shepherding items through regulatory and other review processes to ensure sound risk evaluations and medical, legal, regulatory and data usage adherence.

    What You Should Bring

    + An understanding of and focus on the customer experience, with an ability to design and solution for continual improvements to the digital customer experience that has direct impact on driving incremental outcomes.

    + Comfortable in navigating matrix organizations and translating complex business problems and solutions to customers and senior leadership teams.

    + Ability to understand high-level business operations, and how tools and systems support these processes.

    + Experience with personalization analytics fundamentals including data analysis, customer segmentation, customer profiling, first party data, A/B testing, journey analytics, web and digital analytics, performance metrics and measurement.

    + Familiarity with platforms and tools in Web Analytics, Data Visualization, CDPs , CRMs, DMPs, Marketing Automation Tools.

    + Experience working in digital marketing or related digital customer experience.

    + Experience with, or an ability to quickly ramp up to, an effective understanding of databases, their structure, and how data is moved between systems and made available to end users.

    + Ability to lean into and navigate ambiguity, particularly to develop solutions where there are gaps between strategic vision and organizational capabilities.

    + Willingness to display critical thinking and analytical skills in search of continual operational improvements.

    + Capabilities to persuade and move others to action across all levels of the organization by clearly articulating vision, valuing diversity of thought, and building collaborative teams.

    + Superb communication (written & verbal), interpersonal skills and prioritization skills with attention to detail.

    Basic Requirements

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience

    + At least 5 years of industry experience

    + Qualified candidate must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position

    Additional Skills/Preferences

    + Experience in Pharmaceutical Marketing, CPG or working in a highly regulated environment

    + Experience working in common data engineering programming languages (i.e. SQL, mySQL, Python, R)

    + Experience working with data visualization software (i.e.PowerBI, Tableau)

    + Direct experience with 1st & 3rd party data sources including: CRM, digital media, offline media, field-based, web analytics, customer behavioral data, prescription claims data, etc.

    + Experience working in Adobe Experience Platform products (RTCDP, AJO, CJA, Target)

    + Experience operating in a product management role within MarTech or AdTech

    + Experience leading, developing, and implementing global capabilities

    + Knowledge of SAFe Agile development standard processes

    Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

     

    $126,000 - $184,800

     

    Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
