Job Title: Painter

Job Description

As a Painter, you will be responsible for utilizing airless paint sprayers, mixing paint, and understanding paint ratios. You will prime and paint surfaces, prepare materials, and understand dew point and humidity conditions for optimal painting. Your work will take place both in a paint booth and outdoors. Additionally, you will operate forklifts and overhead cranes, clean and maintain painting equipment and tools, and use spray guns, rollers, and brushes to perform quality checks.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize airless paint sprayers.

+ Mix paint and understand ratios.

+ Prime and paint surfaces.

+ Prepare surfaces for painting.

+ Understand dew point and humidity conditions for painting.

+ Work in a paint booth and outdoors.

+ Operate forklifts and overhead cranes.

+ Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools.

+ Use spray guns, rollers, and brushes.

+ Perform quality checks on painted surfaces.

Essential Skills

+ Industrial painting experience.

+ Experience with airless sprayers.

+ Forklift and overhead crane operation.

+ Surface preparation and equipment setup.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with spray guns, sanding, and paint booths.

+ Knowledge of sandblasting and powder coating.

+ Ability to read blueprints and perform quality finishes.

Work Environment

Work both indoors and outdoors from Monday to Saturday, with a 60-hour work week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pickens, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
