Job Posting: Principal Electrical Engineer
Position Overview: We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary teams in developing complex engineering solutions. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining manufacturing test solutions for the Avionics strategic business unit, as well as for external customers including armed services and airlines, both domestic and international.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design and Development: Create and maintain manufacturing and service test solutions for Aerospace products.
+ Hardware and Software Tasks: Develop product tests for a variety of Aerospace products, utilizing both hardware and software skills.
+ Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Develop strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, heavily utilizing hardware and software development and debug skills on multi-rack test stations.
+ Test Equipment: Work with a variety of test equipment including digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, power supplies, and electronic loads. Support thermal and vibration test equipment and software suites for environmental stress and screening requirements.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines such as mechanical and systems engineering to ensure the electrical design is appropriate for the project/product design approach.
+ Reverse Engineering: Ability to reverse engineer existing equipment and document it.
+ Automated Test Software: Support the development and verification of automated test software and procedures.
+ Project Presentation: Present project and technical status to peers, internal management, and customers.
+ Time Management: Demonstrate excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and delegate work to support technicians, engineering project assistants, and peers.
+ Best Practices: Demonstrate knowledge of hardware processes, tools, methods, workflow, and best practices.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $67.00/hr.
