Job Title: Injection Mold Operator
Job Description
As an Injection Mold Operator, you will support the injection mold process by loading polymer resin into the machine, monitoring the process alongside the Injection Mold Technician, offloading completed helmets, and ensuring quality through visual inspections. You will also be responsible for removing excess plastic from helmets using specific tools provided.
Responsibilities
+ Load polymer resin into the injection molding machine.
+ Monitor the molding process alongside the Injection Mold Technician.
+ Offload completed helmets from the machine.
+ Remove excess plastic from helmet ear holes and top holes using specific tools.
+ Perform quick visual inspections to ensure product quality.
+ Report any quality issues to the Injection Mold Technician.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience with injection molding machines and machine operation.
+ Capability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
+ Wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes is mandatory.
+ Previous manufacturing experience, ideally around a machine.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in plastics or injection molding is preferred.
+ Prior experience in machine operation is advantageous.

Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing setting that is not temperature-controlled but stays cool with overhead fans. The shift is typically from 7am to 3:30pm, with overtime as needed, including some Saturdays and possibly Sundays during busy periods. Expect to work around 40 hours a week.

This is a Contract position based out of Plainfield, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
