Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on the Night Shift (11 PM - 7 AM) or Afternoon Shift (3 PM - 11 PM). This role offers 10-20 hours of overtime and is based in East Canton, OH. The position requires expertise in CNC machining, whether on manuals or CNC grinders, depending on your previous experience and strengths.

Responsibilities

+ Operate, edit, changeover, perform tool changes, and maintain CNC machinery.

+ Conduct inspections and interpret blueprints.

+ Utilize CNC Mills, Manual CNCs, or CNC Grinders (OD/ID) based on experience.

+ Engage in multi-task machining operations.

+ Perform machine programming, troubleshooting, changeovers, grinding, and manual operations as needed.

+ Apply simple shop math for machining processes.

Essential Skills

+ 4+ years of CNC machining experience from schooling or work experience.

+ Proficiency in CNC Mills, Manual CNCs, or CNC Grinders.

+ Capability to operate, maintain, edit/set up, perform tool changes, and more.

+ Competence in reading blueprints and applying basic shop math.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Fanuc programming is a plus.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and perform edits and changeovers.

Work Environment

Located in Canton, Ohio, our facility operates in a heavy industrial union environment, manufacturing large spun cast iron rolls weighing between 9,000 and 100,000 pounds. The temperature inside remains around 10 degrees hotter or cooler than the outside temperature, contributing to a dirty work environment. The team consists of approximately 30-40 employees on the first and third shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr.
