Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a highly self-motivated Field Service Technician with a minimum of two years’ experience in mechanical equipment service, particularly in air compressors and pumps. The position requires providing service on a 24/7 basis, including some jobs that necessitate an overnight stay, and mandatory training classes that may require being out of town for one-week periods. The majority of travel is local, and this role operates during 1st shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
+ Independently perform expert field service and repair on pumps and air compressors.
+ Follow OSHA Safety requirements at all times.
+ Perform new and repaired equipment start-up commissioning and training.
+ Properly and accurately complete service-related documentation, and utilize electronic communication and documentation devices where applicable.
+ Effectively communicate with customers and coworkers.
+ Maintain an organized, clean, and resourceful work environment including the shop, work area, and service vehicle.
+ Consistently provide courteous and professional representation.
+ Required to be on call and able to travel for out-of-town jobs.
+ Serve as a mentor and assist with training new field service technicians.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Pump and air compressor field service experience preferred.
+ Mechanical and electrical experience with pumps and air compressors.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
+ Basic experience with computers and wireless communication devices.
+ Customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ HS Diploma/GED required.
+ Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. assisted.

Work Environment
The role involves servicing equipment around Central, PA, working both indoors and outdoors, and driving a company vehicle to customer sites. Employees are provided with a work truck to drive to and from home each day, saving mileage and fuel on personal vehicles.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
