Job Title: CNC Mill Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a CNC Mill Operator, specializing in the production of cylinder heads for recreational airplanes. This role requires a blend of physical activity and technical skill, ensuring precise manufacturing of high-quality components.

Responsibilities

+ Lift and handle cylinder heads throughout the day, weighing between 20-30 pounds.

+ Grind and debur parts between the flanges as per specifications.

+ Measure and inspect parts using micrometers and calipers, ensuring accuracy and quality.

+ Document work completed and defects using computer systems and traveler documents.

+ Operate CNC mills, handling a variety of machines without needing to perform setups.

+ Apply mechanical skills using hand tools, grinders, and measurement tools.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using hand tools and grinders.

+ Experience with micrometers and calipers.

+ CNC operating skills.

+ Fabrication experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Machine operation expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work with blueprints is advantageous.

+ CNC schooling or interest in advancing a career in CNC machining is considered a bonus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
