Job Title: Warehouse Picker (1st Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking a committed Warehouse Picker for the 1st shift to join our team. As a Warehouse Picker, you will be responsible for sorting boxes and arranging them on the correct pick pallet for forklift operators. You will engage in picking and packing products of various sizes, ranging from handheld boxes to thousand-pound machine parts, using a lift. Additionally, you will utilize an RF scanner and be responsible for loading and unloading semi-trailers with completed pallets. Our working hours are from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 1:30am, with expected overtime until 2am and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

+ Sort boxes and arrange them on the correct pick pallet for forklift operators.

+ Pick and pack products of various sizes using a lift.

+ Utilize an RF scanner for inventory management.

+ Load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in picking and packing products.

+ Proficiency in using an RF scanner.

+ Ability to load and unload semi-trailers.

+ Experience in operating lifting equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 3-6 months of warehouse experience.

+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

+ Flexibility with working hours and mandatory overtime.

+ Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in Davenport, Iowa, operating in a large, open facility that serves as a parts distribution center. Our team, composed of individuals from various backgrounds and experiences, works collaboratively in an inclusive environment with a strong focus on quality and meticulous attention to detail. Performance is measured by quality standards rather than productivity volume, emphasizing the importance of accuracy to prevent shipping errors. The standard shift is from 3pm to 1:30am, with expected overtime until 2am and occasional Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DAVENPORT, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
