Job Title: Tool & Die Maker

MUST HAVE: Experience with making tooling on dies for punch press machinery

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to fabricate custom tooling essential for product production. This role involves making and maintaining various types of dies, including punches, steel rule dies, and die sets. The Tool & Die Maker will operate conventional mills, lathes, and grinders, utilizing engineering drawings to create precise parts and employing various measurement tools throughout the fabrication process.

Responsibilities

+ Fabricate custom tools and tooling used in product production.

+ Make and maintain various types of dies, including punches, steel rule dies, and die sets.

+ Operate conventional mills, lathes, and grinders to manufacture necessary parts.

+ Work from engineering drawings to ensure precision in part creation.

+ Utilize various measurement tools to ensure accuracy throughout the fabrication process.

Essential Skills

+ 6+ years of relevant tool & die experience.

+ Proficiency in working with progressive dies.

+ Ability to operate conventional mills, lathes, and grinders.

+ Skilled in using measurement tools and various hand power tools.

+ Capability to work from engineering drawings and instructions.

This position is based out of Pacoima, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $70.00/hr.
