Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

Operate CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. You will load raw materials into the machine, utilize micrometers and calipers to inspect parts as they come off, and read basic work instructions.

Responsibilities

+ Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts.

+ Load raw materials into the machine.

+ Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers.

+ Read and follow basic work instructions.

+ Handle materials and ensure quality inspection throughout the process.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in manufacturing, ideally with machine operation.

+ Ability to operate any CNC machine with a computer-controlled interface (CNC Mills/Lathes, Routers, injection mold, extrusion, even printing).

+ Experience inspecting parts in manufacturing using hand tools like micrometers and calipers.

+ Mechanical inclination with a minimum of 6+ months of relevant experience (lube tech, construction, or shop class in school).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong interest in learning CNC machine operations.

+ Ability to articulate interest and ask insightful questions during an interview.

+ Experience in manufacturing or machine operation.

Work Environment

The work environment is not temperature controlled and can get hot during the summer due to the machines. It is a very safe environment and highly team-oriented, with team meetings every shift. Collaboration and teamwork are essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
