    Job Title: Mill Machinist

    Responsibilities

    + Perform setups and operate CNC machines.

    + Machine large blocks, weldments, and plate work.

    + Read blueprints or prints to machine parts accurately.

    + Use digital or standard manual micrometers and perform quality checks using calipers, gauges, and visual inspection.

    + Drill and tap holes with precision.

    + Change tooling as required.

    + Utilize basic computer skills to track progress of parts.

    + Perform 3-D machining operations.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of machining experience in a job shop environment.

    + Experience running CNC Vertical Machining Center 'VMC' Mills.

    + Proficiency in programming using Mastercam.

    + Ability to set up and operate machines independently.

    + Capability to read blueprints and tolerances to produce accurate parts.

    + Skill in adjusting speeds and feeds on parts and changing tooling.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
