Job Title: Lathe Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist with over 4 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC Lathes, ideally Okuma or Myano Lathes. The candidate should be proficient in working from blueprints to machine parts and capable of holding tolerances of +-.001. This role requires the ability to perform multiple setups per day and familiarity with conversational programming.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate CNC Lathes, specifically Okuma or Myano models.

+ Work from blueprints to machine parts accurately.

+ Maintain tolerances of +-.001 in all machined parts.

+ Perform multiple setup tasks daily on the CNC machines.

+ Utilize conversational programming techniques to optimize machining processes.

Essential Skills

+ 4+ years of experience with CNC Lathe setup and operation.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ Ability to hold tight tolerances of +-.001.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with CNC mill setup is a plus.

+ Knowledge of Mastercam software is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work on the 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in a climate-controlled facility. Safety is a priority, so steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $75000.00/yr.

ESOP company

12 PTO days in 2025; 15 PTO days in 2026.

Auto enroll in our 401k after first 2 payroll checks; dollar for dollar match up on first 4 %

$3,000 annual deductible per person up to two per family; $6,000 max due to 20% coinsurance

$50 copay

PMC employees share in premium cost at level of 25% - rate for employees is $52.47 (single) or $158 (family) per pay period (weekly)

PMC has 10 paid holidays per year

Tuition Reimbursement up to $5,250
