    We are seeking a highly motivated Chemical Lab Technician who is eager to acquire new skills and capable of multitasking. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in performing catalytic testing and characterizing zeolites and other materials for sustainability applications.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform catalytic testing and characterization of zeolites and other materials, using techniques such as temperature programmed adsorption, desorption, reduction, selective catalytic reduction, and other catalytic reactions.

    + Monitor chemical processes and characterize materials.

    + Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.

    + Troubleshoot problems and malfunctioning instruments.

    + Prepare chemical solutions.

    + Conduct, compile, and interpret results of chemical and physical experiments.

    + Record data and observations in laboratory notebook and laboratory information system.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in chemistry, quality control, and chemical testing.

    + Experience with wet chemistry, chemical handling, titration, and bench chemistry.

    + Knowledge in general laboratory practice, particularly chemical, is required.

    + Ability to conduct experiments with high accuracy and attention to detail.

    + Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associates or Bachelors degree in Chemistry preferred.

    + 0+ years of experience in chemical practices.

    + Ability to follow written procedures and improve upon existing procedures.

    + Skill in planning and executing product demonstrations with precision.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a laboratory setting where the candidate will be working with various laboratory instruments and equipment. The environment requires adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
