Job Description

Join our facilities team as a Porter, where you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of CCD locations. You will adhere to a cleaning schedule and address maintenance issues beyond general cleaning responsibilities. We seek a proactive individual with a can-do attitude to perform these duties efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Perform various cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, focusing on areas like doors, windows, lobby, stairwells, elevator cars, breakrooms, conference rooms, restrooms, and other interior spaces.

+ Remove trash and recyclables from offices, patio, common areas, and clean the fridge.

+ Pay high attention to detail while cleaning.

+ Monitor cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when additional orders are needed.

+ Assist the Maintenance team with work orders as requested.

+ Notify the Supervisor of any necessary repairs.

+ Perform handy work including general maintenance and building upkeep duties.

+ Attend to facilities with integrity and attention.

+ Perform other tasks assigned.

+ Replace lightbulbs and clean the grounds of an apartment building.

+ Deliver great customer service while performing duties.

Essential Skills

+ Two years of experience in commercial cleaning.

+ Comfortable with technology and apps.

+ Bilingual skills preferred.

+ Strong time management skills.

+ Ability to work with the senior population, as most tenants are seniors.

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to blow out leaves and remove debris from the garage weekly.

+ Capability to clean the dog park at least once a week.

+ Complete trash outs for units as needed.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization in the designated shop area.

+ Clean, sweep, and mop all building restrooms, ensuring they always have toiletries.

+ Daily cleaning, sweeping, and mopping of elevators.

+ Daily cleaning, sweeping, and mopping of lobby and laundry areas.

+ Daily cleaning, sweeping, and mopping of all building floors (Floors 1-14).

+ Maintain cleanliness in all trash chute rooms on each floor daily.

+ Check stairs bi-weekly to ensure they are free of trash or spills and maintain cleanliness.

Work Environment

This role offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours a week, from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. The environment is fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and adaptability.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
