HIRING!!!!! 1ST SHIFT - $27/HR - Warehouse Coordinator
Job Description
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, and products within the establishment. This role involves documentation and data entry related to these activities, ensuring inventory accuracy through the First In First Out (FIFO) method.
Responsibilities
+ Process the receipt of all inbound freight by packing slip and purchase order.
+ Process all outbound shipments from the warehouse, ensuring all shipments are labeled correctly.
+ Prepare parcels for shipping and replenish products into their assigned stocking locations.
+ Assist the warehouse specialist in cycle counting as needed.
+ Direct workflow in the receiving area, set priorities, and meet deadlines for the receiving function.
+ Read production schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
+ Fill work orders, material requests, and sample requests, and distribute to Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.
+ Kit/stage work orders in specified sequence according to the production schedule.
+ Maintain material handling equipment and report any potential problems.
+ Perform physical counts, spot-checks, and periodic inventory verification, including monthly and annual physical inventory and record keeping.
+ Keep raw material, MRO, and Finished Good racks neat and organized.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area and aisles, free of hazards.
+ Transfer material to production lines and manage inventory transactions in the control system.
+ Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers, and team members.
+ Work with quality receiving and inspection department to ensure proper staging and sampling.
+ Assist in resolving discrepancies and product misplacement.
+ Comply with SOPs, GMPs, safety rules and regulations, and departmental procedures.
+ Operate forklift or material handling equipment to transport stored items.
+ Own and maintain a designated 6S area, keeping it clean.
+ Assist in completing preventive maintenance activities.
+ Update visual boards used for communicating material issues, work order status, and daily performance.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
+ Proficiency in warehouse management systems and PC environments.
+ Ability to lift 10-50 lbs.
+ Forklift operation and material handling equipment proficiency.
+ Capability to work overtime as required.
+ Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; AA preferred.
+ 1-3 years of warehouse and/or technical office experience.
Work Environment
The role is based in a warehouse setting, requiring physical activity such as lifting boxes and operating forklifts. The environment involves adherence to safety policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
