Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join a dynamic Aerospace and Defense company located in Chatsworth. You will be responsible for performing TIG welding on stainless steel, steel, and aluminum, crafting products such as air pressure pumps, power supply units, and other military ground support equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, steel, and aluminum materials.

+ Interpret and analyze blueprints to identify tolerances.

+ Utilize and maintain measuring tools effectively.

+ Ensure the quality and precision of welds in accordance with company standards.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in TIG welding techniques.

+ Ability to interpret blueprints accurately.

+ Experience in working with stainless steel, steel, and aluminum materials.

+ Skilled in using measuring tools to ensure precision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ No specific certificates required.

+ Must pass a T-Joint TIG welding test on aluminum, stainless steel, and steel during the interview.

+ Ability to identify tolerances from blueprints during the interview.

Work Environment

This position is within a mid-sized aerospace company. The work schedule includes the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chatsworth, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
