    Advanced Systems Engineer

    Are you a Systems Engineer with a strong embedded software expertise looking to work in a fast-paced environment at the intersection of Software & Systems Engineering? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to analyze and develop requirements, specifications, and system architecture while collaborating with key stakeholders.

     

    You will serve as a critical link between multiple technical teams, ensuring seamless coordination and problem-solving across Systems, Software, Programmable Logic, and Integration & Test disciplines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead cross-functional collaboration between technical teams to drive project success

    + Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements, specifications, and design architecture

    + Provide briefings to high level leadership including Chief Engineers, IPT Leads, and Program Management

    + Oversee systems engineering processes, including requirements development, system design, integration, and testing

    + Identify design constraints inherited from other programs and develop solutions

    + Define and execute test cases for integration and validation, ensuring early identification of test assets and equipment

    Top Skills & Qualifications:

    + Active DoD Secret Clearance

    + Experience with system integration, requirements management, and software validation

    + Expertise in embedded software development & testing

    + Familiarity with IBM Rationale DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody for systems engineering

    + Ability to interpret technical drawings and lead verification activities

    + Strong understanding of missile/weapon system subsystems including RF/sensors, guidance, telemetry, power/battery, and airframe

    + Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in an IPT environment

    Required Experience:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline + 14+ years of systems engineering experience (4+ years in requirement verification) OR Master’s Degree in Engineering + 12+ years of relevant experience (4+ years in requirement verification)

    + Experience in missile/weapon development, sustainment, and testing

    + Ability to solve complex technical problems with innovative and strategic solutions

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $67.00 - $82.00/hr.
