Hospital Housekeeper

Job Description

The individual will be responsible for cleaning hospital rooms in the hospital. Mostly discharges (when someone is discharged and the room is sanitized in between patients). There will be a ton of walking involved so candidate must be comfortable being on their feet all day. They will wipe down equipment, empty trash, sweep floor, and dust. They will clean up spills, mop and swipe down surfaces as needed. There are multiple floors so attention to detail is important.

Responsibilities

+ Clean hospital rooms, particularly after patient discharge

+ Sanitize rooms between patients

+ Wipe down equipment and surfaces

+ Empty trash bins

+ Sweep and mop floors

+ Dust surfaces

+ Clean up spills

+ Use iPhones to receive assignments and access cleaning tutorials

+ Learn the hospital floor plan within a reasonable amount of time

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
