Job Title: Warehouse Driver

**Shift** : 8am - 5pm m-f

**Location** : Van buren st/ 55th ave

**Pay** : $20-24hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Driver responsible for picking and assembling customer orders, completing door-to-door deliveries, and maintaining the company vehicle. The role involves receiving and unloading product deliveries, inspecting them for damage and accuracy, and accurately stocking inventory. You will ensure the warehouse is organized and provide excellent customer service, coordinating with the manager and salespersons for urgent deliveries. Participation in inventory counts and company events outside normal working hours may be required.

Responsibilities

+ Pick and assemble customer orders as indicated on the pick list.

+ Complete door-to-door deliveries by driving the company truck on an assigned route.

+ Maintain and safely navigate the company vehicle.

+ Document and complete driver logs when making deliveries.

+ Receive product deliveries and unload delivery trucks in a timely manner.

+ Inspect received products for damage and volume accuracy and document accordingly.

+ Stock inventory in the assigned warehouse location and rotate product inventory to maintain a First-IN, First-OUT (FIFO) food storage system.

+ Partake in warehouse upkeep, ensuring the stockroom is clean and organized.

+ Coordinate with manager and salespersons to assemble urgent deliveries to customers.

+ Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.

+ Attend semiannual inventory counts on designated days, possibly on weekends.

+ Provide logistics support for company events and functions outside of normal working hours.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Forklift operation.

+ Driving and delivery experience, preferably a box truck.

+ Loading and unloading skills.

+ Customer service skills, particularly in the food and beverage industry.

+ Experience with pallet jacks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Conversational level English required; Business level English preferred.

+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

+ Ability to work weekends, holidays, and afterhours as needed.

+ Positive attitude and adaptability to frequent changes.

+ Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team.

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Minimum 1 year of general warehousing experience required.

+ 2+ years of driving/delivery experience preferred.

Work Environment

This role involves being on the road for deliveries with customer interactions, as well as working in a warehouse environment, including loading from a freezer which can be cold.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
