• Electrical Engineer

    Job Description

    + Plans, manages, and coordinates the engineering design work requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for electrical loads

    + Assists Sales to prepare technical proposals and pricing on engineered orders for power systems

    + May supports Sales in making sales calls and customer contacts

    + Interprets customer supplied specifications, drawings and one-line diagrams for solution development, and cost estimates

    + Designs and develops the best cost/performance product

    + Manage design packages to the Drafting department

    + Generates test procedures and manuals required with the product

    + Works with Assembly, Procurement and field technicians during build, test or start up to resolve issues

    + Coordinate engineering response and action plans

    + Work as part of a project team to deliver cost effective, manufacturable designs

    + Supports the maintenance of documentation via engineering change procedures

     

    Must Have

     

    -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

    -3+ years of experience in the following:

    + Developing and creating new products in the electromechanical products space

    + Experience with OEM electrical design activities, preferably in power design, generation, distribution or protection.

    + Experience working with industrial equipment

    + Knowledge working with ERP systems

    + Experience in some of the following- power conversion, electrical systems, switch gear, utility, electrical construction, substation, generators

     

    Nice to Have

     

    -Experience designing in the electrical testing space

     

    -Experience designing to UL, CSA, NEC, and other safety agency requirements

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $63.00/hr.
