Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 1st shift, working from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Your primary responsibilities will include electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of various systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on low voltage circuits.

+ Work with schematics and PLC systems for efficient maintenance.

+ Maintain and troubleshoot sensors, actuators, robotics, and automation systems.

+ Conduct regular maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

+ Perform industrial maintenance tasks and ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair.

+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting and control.

+ Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Familiarity with motors and 3-phase electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Formal education or trade school training in mechatronics is a plus.

You will be working in a clean spice/food company that follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The facility is well-maintained, ensuring a safe and professional work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukegan, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
