Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist responsible for setting up and operating CNC Haas milling machines, specifically in a job shop environment. This role involves creating custom parts per order, requiring multiple machine setups daily, and making program edits using G&M codes with potential use of CAD/CAM or GibbsCAM. The machinist will manage tooling changes, adjust machine speeds and feeds, and inspect parts using precision measuring tools. Proficiency in shop math, including fractions, decimals, and tape measure reading, is essential.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years of CNC Milling experience, preferably with Haas machines.
+ Proficient in programming using G&M codes.
+ Experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
+ Strong shop math skills, including fractions and decimals.
+ Ability to hold tight tolerances of +/- 0.0005.
+ Capability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Skill in setting up mills, completing tooling changes, adjusting speeds and feeds, and editing programs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
