Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a fulfilling role that involves supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring the accurate preparation of medications. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory, preparing compounded sterile products, and ensuring the cleanliness of the pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with ordering, receiving, counting, and maintaining inventory.
+ Unpack and ensure proper placement of received inventory according to storage and/or refrigeration requirements.
+ Accurately gather medications and supplies according to specifications of compounding records.
+ Label prepared compounded sterile products.
+ Assist with cleaning of pharmacy prep area and sterile product complex, including required monthly cleaning of cleanroom.
+ Prepare medications and supplies for entry into cleanroom environment.
+ Restock pharmacy and cleanroom supplies.
+ Organize medication orders to prepare for production.
+ Package and label prepared medication orders, ensuring drug, related supplies, and education materials are included.
+ Prepare and scan compounding record documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Kansas.
+ Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks.
+ Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred but not required).
+ Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm - closed door pharmacy
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
