Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
+ 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
+ Experience in Data Analysis.
+ Experience in Large Scale Data Processing.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
+ Experience with Java.
+ Experience with Geo Systems.
+ Experience with Google Infrastructure.
+ Experience with Machine Learning.
+ Experience in Computational Geometry.

The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Work with Geo data and collaborate with Google infrastructure and Machine Learning research teams to deliver improvements. Dig through data to identify quality gaps and mining raw data sources to create new features for data quality development.
+ Design scalable mechanisms for signal ingestion and fusion through close collaboration with partner teams producing map-making signals to produce high quality data.
+ Develop geospatial algorithms which address the broad scope of lane and road network attributes that Geo maintains.
+ Make technical contributions to the design, development, evaluation, and quality improvement of road geometry, topology, lane, and semantic map attributes.
