Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop, implement, and test individual and familial linkage methods and systems.
+ Develop, implement, and apply large language models in the development of linkage methods and adjudication process.
+ Manage and process sensitive patient data to support the development of linkage and adjudication methods.
+ Develop other machine learning method as requested.
+ Develop scientific papers and reports to disseminate the study results.
+ Collaborate with and support Principal Investigators (PI) and other stakeholders in the area of bioinformatics and data analysis.
+ Assist with the design and development of major bioinformatics-related programming projects.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
+ A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
+ Experience analyzing data using high-performance computing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Strong knowledge of basic statistical principles relevant in medical research.
+ Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and apply quantitative analytical approaches.
+ Demonstrated fluency in one or more programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Perl, Java, C++) and willingness to learn new programming languages as necessary.
+ Familiarity with statistical analytical concepts and methods.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
+ Outstanding customer service skills.
+ Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology medical terminology.
+ Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol information.
