    Phoenix Home Care and Hospice St. Louis is looking for an RN to join our Private Duty Nursing Team as our PDN Nurse Supervisor!

     

    We are looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse who excels in team leadership and possesses a strong problem-solving mindset.     Responsibilities

    + Supervise cases & nurses within the home setting.

    + Ensure operational standards are met.

    + Drive productivity and quality assurance

    + Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures.

    + Train new nurses in and outside the home setting

    + Evaluate nurses’ performance.

    + Instrument of open and positive communication

    + Help handle complaints or other issues.

    + Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family and nursing team.

    + Assess and document according to policy and POC.

    Requirements

    + Active and current MO or applicable Compact Registered Nurse License.

    + 1-year pediatric nursing experience required.

    + Proven work experience as a supervisor

    + In-depth knowledge of private duty nursing is a plus but not required - we will train.

    + Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in nursing

    + Team supervision skills

    + Great communication and people skills

    + Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

    + Valid nursing license
