The Associate Director for Athletic Compliance performs duties to ensure institutional compliance with department, institutional, state, federal, NCAA and ACC guidelines. They assist the Director for Compliance with the overall operations of athletics compliance including compliance-related projects and other administrative duties as assigned by the Director for Compliance. This includes the interpretation of NCAA guidelines and by-laws (30+), education of athletes, coaches and campus units, and subsequent assessment of the implementation of said by-laws. Violations of by-laws and/or University policies are investigated and assessed by this role. A successful candidate will have the expertise to provide interpretation and compliance guidance to other Athletic Compliance team members, as well as constituents. They will manage a personal portfolio as the primary contact and provide compliance oversight for 3-4 sports.
