What You Will Do** **:
The Appian Developers at Guidehouse design, develop, test, and deploy Appian applications for our clients. Our developers work with a team of experienced developers to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
+ Design and develop Appian applications according to client requirements
+ Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test Appian applications
+ Participate in design and code reviews
+ Collaborate with business analysts to understand client needs and requirements
+ Ensure Appian applications are scalable, reliable, and performant
+ Troubleshoot and debug Appian applications
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest Appian features and capabilities
+ Participate in Appian certification programs and maintain Appian certification
+ Create technical documentation and user guides
What You Will Need** **:
+ US Citizenship is contractually required for this position
+ US equivalent Bachelor's degree
+ Ability to achieve Appian certifications upon hire
+ Minimum ONE (1) year of professional and Appian development experience
+ Understanding of Appian platform, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, and Rules
+ Experience working in Agile development methodologies
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
+ Understanding of Appian integrations with 3rd party applications
+ Client-facing written and oral communications skills, relationship focus, and strong technical and business acumen
+ Selected candidate must be able to work in hybrid environment
What Would Be Nice To Have** **:
+ Active Appian Associate Developer certifications
+ Experience with Java, SQL, and web services
+ Work experience on a software development project in a federal government setting or with Federal Acquisition Management
+ An ‘early adopter’ mindset for new Appian platform features
The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
