What You-ll Do

We are seeking a highly

skilled **Senior Web Application Developer** specializing in **Next.js**

and **Vercel** to develop, optimize, and maintain cutting-edge eCommerce web

applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern web

development, shift-left testing practices, and performance optimization, with

the ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate effectively with

offshore development teams to deliver exceptional, scalable, and user-centric

eCommerce experiences.

Minimum education qualification

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.

The ideal candidate will have:

+ - **Development:** Build andmaintain robust, scalable web applications using Next.js and Vercel, leveragingserver-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and incrementalstatic regeneration (ISR) to ensure high performance and SEO optimization.- **TechnicalLeadership:** Guide and mentor offshore developers, ensuring high-quality codedelivery, adherence to best practices, and alignment with project goals.- **Shift-LeftTesting:** Implement shift-left testing by integrating automated unit,integration, and end-to-end tests early in the development process using toolslike Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress to ensure quality and minimizedefects.- **PerformanceOptimization:** Optimize web applications for speed and scalability, utilizingVercel-s analytics, edge caching, and Next.js features (e.g., imageoptimization, code splitting) to achieve fast load times and superior userexperiences.- **eCommerceImplementation:** Develop seamless eCommerce experiences, integrating with platformslike Shopify, Stripe, or custom APIs to deliver secure, intuitive, and scalableuser journeys.- **Collaboration:** Work closelywith architects, designers, product managers, and offshore teams to translaterequirements into technical solutions, ensuring effective communication acrosstime zones.- **DevOpsIntegration:** Leverage Vercel-s CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows to streamlinedevelopment, testing, and deployment processes for rapid and reliable releases.- **Code Quality:** Adhere to codingstandards, participate in code reviews, and use tools like ESLint and Prettierto maintain consistent, high-quality codebases.- **Problem-Solving:** Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges,contributing to innovative solutions that enhance application performance anduser engagement.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

- **Experience:** 5+ years ofexperience in web development, with at least 2 years focused on Next.js andVercel in production environments.- **Technical Expertise:** oStrong proficiency in Next.js, including SSR, SSG, ISR, and API routes.oHands-on experience with Vercel platform features, including edgefunctions, analytics, and deployments.oExpertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).oProficiency in shift-left testing with tools like Jest, ReactTesting Library, Cypress, or Playwright.oKnowledge of performance optimization techniques, including lazyloading, code splitting, and image optimization.- **eCommerceExperience:** Demonstrated experience building eCommerce web applications, withfamiliarity integrating payment gateways, CMS platforms, or headless commercesolutions.- **Leadership:** Experiencementoring or leading small development teams, with the ability to workeffectively with offshore or distributed teams.- **DevOps:** Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Vercel deployment processes.- **Communication:** Strong verbaland written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across timezones and cultures.- **Problem-Solving:** Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to resolvingtechnical challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience with **headless CMS** platforms (e.g., Contentful, Sanity) and **GraphQL** for eCommerceapplications.-Familiarity with **Tailwind CSS** or other modern CSS frameworks for efficient UI development.-Knowledge of **Web Vitals** andtools like Lighthouse for performance auditing.-Experience with **A/B testing** or analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics) to supportdata-driven optimizations.-Certification in **Next.js** or **Vercel** platforms
