Job Title: Test Analyst -SDET
Job Location: Grand Rapids or remote
Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through meticulous testing and validation processes. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
AIX dev and test knowledge
QE knowledge for batch systems
Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans outlining testing strategies, objectives, scope, and resources.
Test Case Design and Execution: Create and execute detailed test cases based on software specifications and requirements.
Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects, and communicate them to development teams.
Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to establish clear testing objectives and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Azure Cloud / AWS experience
Safe Agile experience
Performance Testing: Execute performance tests to assess software scalability and reliability under various conditions.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Facilitate UAT to ensure the software meets user requirements and expectations.
Existing Applications: Work with existing applications to find and utilize existing test plans, ensuring continuity and leveraging previous testing efforts.

Familiarity with industry-standard test automation tools.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
