Our media client’s Data Solutions & Instrumentation (DSI) team is seeking a skilled Sr Product Manager to contribute to the management and instrumentation of world class data collection solutions across their platform.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will apply your experience solutioning, implementing, and supporting instrumentation of first-party measurement approaches and third-party digital analytics tools in complex web, mobile & connective device application environments. The Data Solutions & Instrumentation (DSI) team plays a key role in defining the data collection strategy, developing instrumentation requirements and acceptance criteria for various evolving data products. The team also leverages tools and processes for validating instrumentation accuracy and monitoring ongoing data quality and schema adherence. Candidates must be comfortable working across functional teams in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. This role requires close collaboration with key teammates in Product Management, Product & Data Engineering & Business Operations and stakeholders in the Product & Tech Analytics team.

You will support efforts to implement and maintain consistent instrumentation across their whole platform, marketing landing page & commerce ecosystems, in doing so:

• You will write & maintain world-class documentation for our continually evolving set of data products

• You will collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics & Product to translate the businesses evolving reporting needs into technical specifications and partner with Engineering to ensure they’re instrumented correctly

• You will partner with the teams Technical Program Manager (TPM) to ensure error-free instrumentation requirements are efficiently delivered to our Engineering partners & that we’re supporting the implementation and validation process as needed

• You will regularly partner with highly technical Engineering partners to debug & resolve implementation blockers and integrate into multiple processes and workstreams to accomplish goals

• You will support the development of data quality validation checks in Python/PySpark and SQL

• You will seek out the expertise of the more seasoned members of the team & broader organization to continue refining your own skillset

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of data product management experience or similar role instrumenting measurement solutions, managing data collection schemas or architecting relevant enterprise digital measurement solution or customer data platforms.

• Proven track record partnering with Engineering teams to implement digital measurement solutions.

• Polished communicator comfortable translating stakeholder needs into well-documented technical specifications.

• Ability to review analytics implementation accuracy using Charles, Fiddler, or similar HTTP debugging proxy.

• Expert handle on the rapidly evolving product analytics space with demonstrated experience and level of comfort in Snowflake & Databricks.

• Demonstratable analytical & problem-solving skills with ability to balance various priorities.

• High-level of comfort building a roadmap and working within an agile, Jira-driven operating model

• Demonstrable expertise & passion for the Entertainment category with understanding of the digital media landscape.
