Job Summary
Shake Shack is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Investor Relations to join our finance team. This role will be pivotal in managing and enhancing our relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders. The Head of Investor Relations will work closely with the CFO and CEO as well as other senior leaders to communicate Shake Shack's financial performance, strategic initiatives, and growth prospects to the investment community. We are seeking a vital partner that can play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Shake Shack and its relationships with the investment community as we accelerate our growth.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
+ Investor Communications:
Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy.
Prepare and distribute quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and other financial communications.
Draft and manage the creation of annual reports, shareholder letters, and other investor-related documents.
Communicate the company’s financial performance, strategy, and outlook to investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage investor calls, meetings, and conferences.
Advise senior leadership on market sentiment and expected investor reactions
+ Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze financial performance and market trends to provide insights to the CFO and senior management.
Prepare detailed financial models and forecasts to support investor communications.
Monitor and report on analyst reports, investor feedback, and market sentiment.
+ Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and communications.
Organize and participate in investor calls, roadshows, conferences, and other events.
+ Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with the finance team to develop and communicate Shake Shack's strategic initiatives and growth plans.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on investor feedback and market analysis.
Support the CFO in preparing materials for Board of Directors meetings and other strategic discussions.
+ Compliance and Governance:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to investor communications and disclosures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in investor relations.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
+ Experience:
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, equity research or a related field.
+ Proven track record of managing investor relations for a publicly traded company is a plus.
+ Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and market analysis.
Skills:
+ Communication and Presentation Skills: Effective verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, with the ability to deliver impactful messaging and strong presentation skills.
+ Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial reports, analytic methods, and financial data tools to provide insights to senior management.
+ Investor Engagement: Strong relationship-building skills to maintain connections with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
+ Financial Reporting and Disclosure: Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, press releases, and other communications with the investment community. High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Strategic Communication: The ability to develop and implement investor relations strategies; collaboration skills to work with the finance team in developing and communicating the company's strategic initiatives and growth plans.
+ Leadership Skills: Ability to guide the investor relations function and coordinate cross-functionally and with senior management.
+ Stakeholder Management: Capability to serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and communications.
+ Leadership and Project Management: Skills in leading and managing cross functional projects such as investor days, roadshows, strategic projects and others. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay Range - $196,398.00 - $263,058.00
