Position Specific Description

As the Manager of Corporate Operational Excellence for the Corporate Development, Knowledge Mangement, you will be leading Nextera’s knowledge management practice for the company. Knowledge management is a cornerstone in the foundation for the company’s AI ambitions. You will be responsible for helping the company achieve those ambitions by both growing and strengthening the foundation of the company’s knowledge management platform Employee Share Net (ESN). This platform, built on SharePoint and interwoven with the M365 suite, has experienced rapid utilization growth as the need for knowledge management has grown with the growth and increasing complexity of functions within the company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing an eclectic team that is both customer facing and software development focused. You will wear multiple hats as you serve as product owner, platform advocate, subject matter expert and agile delivery manager. It will be your responsibility to continue the increase in platform utilization and customer sentiment with regards to ESN and the knowledge management practice.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Coordinates the integration of process improvements with technologies required to implement and measure enhancements effectively.

+ Develops and customizes SharePoint and M365 solutions to enhance corporate collaboration and knowledge management.

+ Monitors and guides actions to enhance customer sentiment on ESN.

+ Leads and oversees strategic projects ensuring successful and timely completion with identified tangible value.

+ Mentors and guides cross-functional teams on business improvement projects tasked by management.

+ Creates and delivers formal presentations of project work and recommendations to business leaders at various management levels.

+ Compiles, analyzes, and provides actionable insights from complex program data, recommending improvements and enhancements.

+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Extensive experience with SharePoint, PowerBI, and M365 Suite

+ Expertise in Knowledge Management practices

+ Expertise in Change Mangement practices

+ Expertise in AI Integration and Gen AI Frameworks

+ 4+ Years of experience with an operational job function

+ 4+ Years of experience with direct customer management

+ SAFe Agile Software Engineering, Product Owner/Manager, or Portfolio Management Certified.

+ PMI PMP Certified or other PMI Equivalents.

This position is responsible for Six Sigma programs, projects, and processes in order to establish and maintain quality standards of existing services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement. Employees in this position lead a team of certified Six Sigma professionals.

+ Coaches and leads cross-departmental teams to execute on measurable business process improvements

+ Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, successfully implements solutions, and develops control plans

+ Employs Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations

+ Interacts with other Six Sigma certified professionals in the planning, designing, and accomplishing of key projects

+ Coaches and mentors Project Champions, Black Belts, and Green Belts in the application of Lean Six Sigma

+ Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

+ High School Grad / GED

+ Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience

+ Experience: 7+ years

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s Degree

+ Six Sigma Master Black Belt
