    Join the **Interventional Radiology** team at **University Health** , where advanced imaging meets clinical innovation. As an **Interventional Radiologic Technologist** , you’ll work side-by-side with physicians in the Interventional Suite, delivering vital imaging services during vascular and interventional procedures that directly impact patient outcomes.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Assist physicians with **minimally invasive vascular and interventional procedures**

    + Operate specialized imaging equipment such as **IR Suite technology** , **fluoroscopy** , and possibly **MRI** , **CT** , or **mammography**

    + Manage **technical, clinical, and operational functions** within the department

    + Ensure compliance with **Joint Commission, state, federal, and corporate radiation policies**

    + Provide care to patients across the lifespan—from **neonates to geriatrics**

    + Support **performance improvement** and **continuous quality initiatives**

    + Act as a clinical resource and mentor to peers, fostering a collaborative team culture

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Graduate of an **accredited radiography program**

    + Must hold **one** of the following certifications:

    + **ARRT (R)**

    + **ARRT (VI)**

    + **ARRT CV**

    + **Basic Life Support (BLS)** certification upon hire (must maintain as a condition of employment)

    + Critical thinking and strong communication skills

    + Ability to operate computers and imaging systems

    + Must be able to lift up to **50 lbs** and assist in patient movement

    + Knowledge of human development and the ability to work with **all age groups**

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + **1–2 years of experience** as an Interventional Technologist

    + Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
