The client is looking for an Infrastructure and Automated Tools Engineer to join our Space Systems Verification and Test team in El Segundo, CA. In this position, you'll contribute to a team responsible for the hardening, deployment, automation, setup, and readiness of Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments.

Position Responsibilities:

* Work with Product Security, Software and IT engineers to execute the Infrastructure and Tools team scope of work

* Interface effectively with multiple technical disciplines in a team environment

* Works with the Infrastructure Manager to help transform the existing Test IT Infrastructure and Tools

* Designs networks and complex IT Infrastructure, including redundancy and disaster recovery systems

* Contributes to important initiatives to upgrade existing infrastructure and leads adoption of latest technologies which include virtualization and automation

* Assists in implementing best practices to manage a network server room

* Lead the team to develop engineering documentation and processes to reduce waste and maximize repeatability

* Setup of infrastructure tools and environments such as Servers, Virtual Machine, Storage, Network/Firewall.

* Champions Lab Excellence initiatives to continuously improve server room environment

* Works in a hands-on lab environment with a variety of different types of test equipment

* This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

* This position requires the ability to obtain a Tier 5 (T5) and Top Secrete Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Required Skills:

* 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Experience managing large server and IT systems, both bare metal and virtual machines

* Strong communication and coordination abilities

* Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Preferred Skills:

* Holds a Security+ Certification

* 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Experience in Mix Unix/Linux and Windows, VMWare, NAS/SAN Storage environment

* 5 or more years leading technical teams

* An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance and current Tier 5 (T5).

Education / Experience:
