    DESCRIPTION:Rush-Henrietta seeks an experienced inclusive educator to be responsible for interventions to support the academic, behavioral and social development of students throughout the district. Candidates should possessstrong knowledge of crisis intervention, culturally responsive practices, and proficiency in developing and monitoring behavioral assessments, behavioral analysis, and intervention plans. The behavior specialist willcollaborate with teachers, school teams and families, and will provide consultation and professional development to teachers and paraprofessionals to support students’ social, academic and behavioral growth. Theposition may include CSE chair responsibilities as assigned, and collaboration on out-of-district placements. The specialist reports to the Director of Special Education.SALARY:Highly competitive, per Rush-Henrietta Teachers’ Contract.QUALIFICATION:New York State Certification as a School Psychologist, Special Education Teacher, or Speech Language Teacher is required.
