    At First Student, our Monitors/Aides play a vital role in ensuring every student gets to school safely and on time. You’ll work alongside drivers to support safe routes, manage student behavior, and help create a positive bus environment.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Stay alert to student needs and safety during routes

    + Support the driver by monitoring behavior and reporting concerns

    + Assist with student boarding and exiting

    + Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety checks

    + Communicate with school staff, parents, and students

    + Attend safety trainings and emergency drills

    + Help clean the interior of the bus and assist with directional backing when needed
