    What We Need:

    Brady Worldwide Inc. is seeking a Senior Firmware DevOps Engineer for our Plymouth, MN location. The Senior Firmware DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting the build automation system for the company’s hardware products. The Senior Firmware DevOps Engineer will provide support for developing build scripts and tools that will improve the efficiency of the development and its build process. In this role, the Senior Firmware DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive suite of build automation tools to deploy a continuous integration and product release workflow.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    + Maintaining and adding to the existing automation frameworks, and supporting the development/integration of toolsets to augment product development testing and manage the version control system.

    + Work closely with software, firmware, and hardware engineers and software quality assurance engineers in the team to deliver high quality test coverage and increase the team’s efficiency.

    + All engineers are required to follow Brady’s development process which includes our iterative development process.

    + Responsible for managing the development of large modules as part of a development team

    + May utilize other resources in development of technology needed for development of product deliverables.

    What You Will Need To Be Successful:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience working in a devops engineering context.

    + We will also accept individuals with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in a devops engineer context. As part of the required five years of experience (Bachelor’s), or three years of experience, the individual must have:

    + 3 years of experience developing and deploying CI/CD pipelines.

    + 3 years of experience of Software Configuration Management

    + 3 years of experience with source control, build and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.

    + 2 years of experience with Python, Shell, Powershell, C, and C+

    + + 2 years of experience with Puppet, Docker, or similar configuration management tools.

    Salary Range: $84,000 - $123,000/yr
