Quality Assurance Analyst

Location - **On Site: Dubuque, IA**

Schedule: **Weekday shifts (Mon–Fri)**

Salary Range: **$70,000 - $77,500 / year + Excellent Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, etc.)**

Sedona in partnership with a local Dubuque, IA manufacturer, is hiring an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to help lead its quality and food safety initiatives. This critical role supports laboratory testing, quality program management, and regulatory compliance in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage operations in the physical/chemical testing lab and maintain supply inventories

+ Review product testing results; investigate nonconformities and maintain documentation integrity

+ Generate certificates of analysis and verify shipment documentation

+ Lead ISO internal audits, Food Defense activities, and external training efforts

+ Develop, validate, and implement new test methods; train staff and assess competency

+ Support continuous improvement and production quality initiatives aligned with HACCP, FSMA, and Lean Six Sigma

+ Track and manage corrective actions and audit findings

+ Oversee pest control coordination and ensure Kosher/Halal compliance

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field

+ FSMA PCQI certification

+ HACCP certification

Preferred Experience:

+ Background in food manufacturing

+ Experience with regulatory bodies (FDA, USDA, APHIS)

+ Familiarity with Halal/Kosher auditing and certification requirements
