Parking Management, Facilities, and Capital Projects Unit plays a vital role in the development, management, and operation of the City’s municipal parking infrastructure. The unit is responsible for managing 8 multi-level parking garages and 30 municipal parking fields across the city. We oversee structural inspections, capital projects, contract administration, and sustainability initiatives at parking facilities. Our mission is to integrate sustainability practices and environmental safety into municipal parking facilities. This unit is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented staff analyst level 2 to support key operational and procurement activities across the City’s municipal parking garages. The selected candidate will work closely with engineers, inspectors, and garage operators to ensure contract compliance, assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, and coordinate a wide range of operational and administrative activities, including:
- Support contract administration by tracking contract milestones, deliverables, and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal units and external garage operators on work orders, documentation, and invoice processing.
- Assist with performance monitoring and reporting on garage operator contracts.
- Prepare procurement documentation for engineering materials and EV charging stations, including bid analysis, requisitions, receiving reports, and specification reviews.
- Maintain procurement tracking databases and support inventory control.
- Assist with administrative functions such as budget documentation, personnel matters, and internal reporting.
- Participate in data entry, data validation, and document control tasks related to field operations and sustainability initiatives.

Hours/Shift:
35 Hours / Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Additional Information:
This position may be eligible for remote work up to 2 days per week, pursuant to the Remote Work Pilot Program agreed to between the City and DC37.

Qualifications
A master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school; or
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of satisfactory full- time professional experience working in one or a combination of the following areas: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, labor relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management; or in a related area.
An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in "2" above.
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and six years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in "2" above.
A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to “1”, “2”, “3”, or “4” above. College education may be substituted for professional experience at the rate of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for one year of experience. However, all candidates must have a high school diploma.
