    This job collaborates with multiple stakeholders to identify and complete regulatory and policy assessments.

     

    Conducts regulatory and policy research including review, evaluation and monitoring of policies and legislation to determine their impacts on digital medicine operations.

     

    Synthesizes the findings into actionable summaries to be validated and used across a cross-functional team.

     

    Works closely with the legal and compliance team to develop actionable summaries.

     

    Serves as a liaison with the government relations department.

    Education

    Required – Bachelor’s degree.

     

    Preferred – Juris Doctorate.

    Work Experience

    Required - 4 years of experience in policy research, healthcare policy, legal analysis or related field;

    _OR_

    Juris doctorate and no experience.

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

    + Ability to conduct skilled detail-oriented research with the capability to synthesize information across multiple disciplines into salient points.

    + Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively engage with a variety of stakeholder groups and operate as part of a matrixed team.

    + Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

    + Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.

    + Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.

    + Analytical skills and strong theoretical and research proficiencies and ability to conduct detail-oriented analysis and synthesize large amount of research.

    + Ability to comprehend and interpret legal documents, medical board regulations, and similar documents.

    + Thorough knowledge of databases and tracking systems.

    + Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet strict deadlines.

    Job Duties

    + Conducts policy and regulatory research and gathers related information.

    + Reviews, evaluates, and monitors policies and legislation to determine their impacts on digital medicine operations.

    + Deciphers laws, rulings and regulations in regulatory documents.

    + Monitors all available resources for regulatory updates and escalates as appropriate.

    + Synthesizes and organizes information and creates reference tools for easy use by the team.

    + Serves as the primary point of contact for internal business teams seeking regulatory research in areas of focus.

    + Maintains and updates databases and tracking systems.

    + Establishes a trusting relationship with cross functional teams, working to gather and clearly articulate requirements.

    + Proactively anticipates, identifies, and resolves challenges.

    + Performs other related duties as assigned.
