    Description

    Are you an exceptional Linux Systems Administrator with a current active clearance that is looking to join an organization that is committed to cutting edge technologies. If so we may have an opportunity for you as we are looking for a Linux Systems Administrator that will be an essential part of the team, building and maintaining the critical classified infrastructure. The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the world’s most distinguished engineers and cybersecurity professionals as you help to implement cutting edge systems.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

     

    + Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and follow system maintenance, patch, and migration schedules.

    + Collaborate with System Engineers in the uploading of container images into the deployment pipeline.

    + Assist with setup of system of systems hardware from bare metal to platform base operating system.

    + Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, Windows, and Linux servers.

    + Develop and implement automation scripts using Python and Ansible.

    Requirements

    + 5-7 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Classified IT enterprise systems and solutions at manufacturing companies (Aerospace & Defense industry preferred).

    + Proven expertise in one or more of the following, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows (10, 11, Server 2019, 2022), VMware (VxRail), Azure or AWS cloud services.

    + Experience performing Database Cloning, Backups, Restoring, Recovery, and Monitoring.

    + Experience implementing role-based access control concepts (e. g. SE Linux extensions to RHEL, PitBull, AppArmor, and Sentris).

    + Programming ability in one or more of the general scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash, Rust, etc.).

    + Experience in DevOps or SRE type roles.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs.

    + Experience with physical hardware - servers, cabling, desktops, laptops, phones, tablets.

    + Experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting air-gapped IT systems.

    + Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, working closely with Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs) and Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs).

    + Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware ESXi, Linux KVM, Hyper-V, and containerization platforms like Docker.

    + DoD approved 8570/8140 baseline certification (Security +, CySA+, CISSP, etc).

    + Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
