Description We are looking for a skilled Logistics Coordinator specializing in Ocean Exports to join our team in Cypress, California. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will oversee international shipping operations, ensuring shipments are managed efficiently and comply with global trade regulations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in freight forwarding, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency in CargoWise.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete lifecycle of ocean export shipments, from booking to final delivery.

• Prepare and process export documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and regulatory filings.

• Coordinate bookings with carriers and agents to secure timely vessel schedules and space availability.

• Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and overseas agents to facilitate smooth cargo movement.

• Accurately input and maintain shipment details in CargoWise, ensuring documentation and milestones are updated.

• Track and trace shipments, proactively addressing any delays or operational issues.

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company-specific standard operating procedures.

• Handle billing, costing, and invoice accuracy within the system.

• Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, operations, and customs departments to optimize processes. Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in ocean export operations within freight forwarding or logistics.

• Proficiency in CargoWise is essential.

• Strong understanding of export documentation, international shipping regulations, and Incoterms.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to compliance.
