Position Summary
As a Senior Java full-stack Engineer with CVS Health DDAT team, you will provide hands on technical guidance to an agile team with 8-10
engineers and work with the team to build high-quality, usable products to customers and stakeholders. You will help provide input to product
roadmap, technical design, oversee engineering practices, and lead product build using agile (Scrum, Agile) software development practices
and create products from discovery and framing through iterative development and delivery. You will Participate in feature refinement
sessions with key stakeholders to ensure the specified needs are clearly articulated, gaps identified and propose adjustments as needed. You
will also maintain a user-centered and business-as-priority approach in design perspective and practice.
A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience working with enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment, preferably in a J2EE
development environment with strong leadership experience
8+ years of Java development experience
4+ years of experience with frontend development including Angular 8+ or Similar
4+ years of experience implementing REST services with Java and Spring Boot
3+ years of experience working in an Agile-based development environment and using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration
(CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness business domain
Experience in deploying to a cloud platform (Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, etc.)
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Capability to mentor junior and mid-level engineer resources
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
Will accept High School diploma and equivalent experience in lieu of degree (2 years of professional work experience for every year of
college not completed in addition to the required years of experience)

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
