    Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for the construction of a multi-unit apartment complex. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and diagrams.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for the construction of a multi-unit apartment complex.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and diagrams.

    + Install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures per project specifications and local codes.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.

    + Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in working on large-scale residential or commercial construction projects.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.

    + Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.

    + Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of low voltage electrical wiring.

    + Experience in bending and running conduit.

    Work Environment

     

    The work schedule is from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, at an apartment complex in downtown Bixby. You will need to have a hard hat, high visibility clothing, and your own tools.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $38.00/hr.
