    Summary

    The App Development Analyst II will lead moderately complex projects that require skill in a diverse array of programming expertise. This role is responsible for application analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, and support of complex issues.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Works directly with business customers and technical team

    + Contributes to implementation strategy discussion for testing to ensure functionality supports business processes.

    + Writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code which may include Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) configurations.

    + Collaborates with technical team to improve product’s functionality.

    + Conducts code reviews, quality assurance activities, and practice fundamental Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.

    + Stays up to date with application releases, adjacent relevant technology, and industry best practices.

    + Authors knowledge sharing documentation.

    + Participates and leads application tasks specific to multiple medium level projects.

    + Provides value added coding based on understanding business process.

    + Applies application patches and/or collaborate with other teams to ensure application stack is patched against known vulnerabilities.

    + Identifies appropriate level of team interactions to resolve issues and lead effective collaboration and meetings.

    + Demonstrates skill in identifying and resolving technical problems and effectively communicating the problems to vendors, customers, and team members.

     

    You Must Have

     

    + Two or more years of direct work experience

    + Bachelors degree, certification or two additional years of directwork experience in lieu of Bachelors degree or certification

    + Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business

    + Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job

    + Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

    + United States Citizenship

    + Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
