Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join a dynamic manufacturing company specializing in powdered metal coatings for various industries, including automotive, aerospace, and defense. We are looking for dedicated general production workers to be part of our team at our Ridgway, PA facilities.

Responsibilities

+ Load parts from containers onto the production line.

+ Conduct visual inspection of coated parts to ensure quality.

+ Unload parts from fixtures and maintain lot control integrity.

+ Report any defects in parts or coatings and abnormalities in spray line operations.

+ Assist in the setup or changeover of spray lines and support other spray line operators.

+ Participate in training new personnel and ensure workspace housekeeping and cleanliness.

+ Adhere to company policies and load parts into customer-supplied containers.

+ Load boxes onto skids.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general production and labor.

+ Ability to handle unloading and loading tasks efficiently.

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in a production line setting is advantageous.

Work Environment

The Ridgway facility offers a traditional manufacturing environment with good production flow, though it can be loud and dirty at times and is not climate-controlled. Meanwhile, the Bootjack facility is newer, clean, organized, and climate-controlled. Dress code requires a T-shirt, jeans, and steel-toed shoes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgway, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
