    Amergis Educational Staffing is Hiring a Sign Language Interpreter in Winston-Salem, NC!

     

    Join our dedicated team and help make a meaningful difference in students’ lives. Amergis Educational Staffing is actively seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year.

    Position Details:

    + Start Date: August 4, 2025

    + Contract Length: Full 2025–2026 school year

    + Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

    + Setting: 1:1 student support

    + Grade Levels: Flexible—work with students across various grade levels

    Qualifications:

    + Associate’s degree in interpreting or a related field

    + Completion of 20 hours of annual professional learning in interpreting/transliterating

    + Experience in an educational setting preferred

    Interpreter Certification Levels:

    + Educational Interpreter I:

    + EIPA score of 3.3+ or TEC Unit score of Level 2 (for cued language transliterators)

    + Educational Interpreter II:

    + EIPA score of 3.5+ or TEC Unit score of Level 3

    + Educational Interpreter III:

    + EIPA score of 4.0, TEC Unit score of Level 3, or national certification
