Responsibilities:

+ Provide relief for all Converting operations on a daily and/or weekly basis in order to maintain continuous quality production on all shifts.

+ Responsible for continuous training in order to learn all aspects of the department as well as all product characteristics.

+ Able to operate all mobile equipment.

+ Responsible to assist in general housekeeping of the department.

+ Always maintain a safe work environment.

+ Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.

+ Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules

+ Must be able to work extended hours when required

+ All other duties as assigned

+ These responsibilities may change in the future to keep up with customer demands, equipment changes and improved Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications/ Experience:

+ Experience in papermaking or manufacturing

+ Able to work rotating shifts

Qualifications/Experience Preferred:

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Basic math skills

+ Highly motivated

+ Strong time management and priorities management skills

+ Analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Computer literate with knowledge of Excel. BPCS experience a plus.

+ Ability to interact with vendors and internal customers

+ Metrics driven

This is a Union position Starting Rate is $19.07 per hour for the first 90 days then increases to $21.19 per hour.
